What does Bloodhound do that Shopify analytics doesn't?
Shopify analytics tells you what sold. Bloodhound tells you what broke. JS errors, Core Web Vitals regressions, third-party script failures, checkout funnel drop-offs, the silent failures that never show up in conversion reports but cost you sales every day.
Will it slow down my store?
No. The Web Pixel runs in Shopify's sandbox, out-of-process from your storefront thread. We add zero render-blocking JS. Our pixel adds ~3KB gzipped. We measure ourselves, our own median first-byte is under 80ms.
Does the trial require a card?
No card required to start. Your 14-day free trial begins on install. You only add a payment method (through Shopify's billing) when you activate Pro, Growth, or Business.
How is this priced compared to Noibu, Sentry, LogRocket?
Pro is $49/mo. Noibu and LogRocket are both 4-6x that. Sentry's ecommerce-equivalent tier is ~$120/mo. We are not the cheapest monitor, we are the cheapest one built specifically for Shopify storefronts.
What data do you collect?
Country code, anonymous session ID, error details, performance metrics, funnel steps. No IPs, no customer PII, no order contents. See the Web Pixel doc for the full list.
What happens if I uninstall?
Ingest stops accepting events from your shop within 60 seconds. Stored data is deleted on a 30-day rolling purge. You can request immediate deletion via Shopify's GDPR webhook or by email.
Do you do session replay?
Not yet. Session replay is on the roadmap for the Business plan but is not in the v1 launch. We do capture full error context (stack trace, breadcrumbs, browser, viewport) which is enough for ~90% of debugging.
Can I get a multi-store dashboard?
Enterprise plan. Contact sales. The multi-store switcher UI ships post-launch for early Enterprise customers.
Is there an API?
Enterprise only at launch. A per-store REST API token will be available from the Settings page. Pro/Business get CSV / JSON export.
Where is my data stored?
Hetzner EU (Falkenstein, Germany). Postgres database, daily encrypted backups. No US data transfer, GDPR-compliant by default.
